Ridgeway Cottage
A contemporary garden for entertaining.
This project focused on creating a stylish, functional patio area for a holiday let with uninterrupted countryside views. The brief was to design a contemporary outdoor space with a built-in BBQ, suitable for dining, relaxing, and entertaining guests. As the clients were remote, all decisions were handled via phone and email, requiring a clear and responsive design process. We created a minimalist layout that made efficient use of the available space and selected stone paving to reflect the house’s interior finishes. The built-in BBQ was designed with preparation space and storage, and lighting was added to allow for evening use. The result is a clean, low-maintenance patio that elevates the cottage’s appeal for holidaymakers.
